How Do You Sell Soul To People Who Have Sold Their Souls?

submitted by Gabrielle Jones-Price

h/t to musical group Public Enemy for the title of this post. I was reminded of it when I viewed this video and have since been listening to a LOT of soul, R&B and funk. America has become comfortably numb and awash in denial. I've started diving deeper into personal studies with a focus on deep ecology to fill my cup. When you fall in love with the world, you want to keep it from being destroyed.

James Hillman was an American psychologist. He studied at, and then guided studies for, the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich.  He founded a movement toward archetypal psychology and retired into private practice, writing and traveling to lecture, until his death at his home in Connecticut.

TRC features media analysis, social critiques and spiritual refreshments focused on the socio/cultural impacts of a post-9/11, post-carbon, ponzi scheme world teetering on the edge of mass awakening or mutually assured destruction.

In the spirit of mass awakening, the following types of comments will not be approved:

- Comments that criticize any class of people as a whole, especially when based on an attribute they don't have control over
- Comments that explicitly call for violence
- Comments with links to third party sites that are not relevant to the content of the conversation. No spam.
- Because we moderate comments does not mean we do not have a sense of humor. The Royal 'We', you know, the editorial...
- know...take it easy, man. We're all in this together.
